Leave it to Linda to include music related movies. In that genre, I’ve viewed the following too many times to remember:
The Last Waltz
Woodstock
The Wall
The Song Remains The Same
In today’s local newspaper, there are recommendations for movies that sports junkies can watch during this drought of NCAA, NBA, etc. one of them is Caddyshack. There’s a photo of Bill Murray talking to the gopher.
I told my wife not to worry if the house cleaner didn’t want to come out because I’d just use the leaf blower and take care of it myself.
I believe the only movies I have watched over 5 times:
The Wizard of Oz
The Godfather
The Godfather: Part II
Since I own all of those on Blu-ray, I will probably watch each again.
Well, if we can include concert "movies"...
I've certainly watched Live At Pompeii with the original quad soundtrack more than 5 times since finding it in 2012. Certainly more than 5 times with the stereo or mono soundtracks before that.
back to stereo:
The Wall
Yessongs
Baby Snakes
Does Humor Belong In Music?
The Song Remains The Same
Tommy
Any and all broadcast Floyd concert excerpts
Black Sabbath live in Paris broadcast
The Genesis live broadcasts
The Zappa live broadcasts
I suppose the live broadcast things are more like listing TV specials than movies? Sorry if that's cheating!
The original RollerBallI know that this has nothing to do with surround, well, maybe indirectly, but I was wondering about this after seeing a post in another thread.
How many movies have you watched so many times that you can almost recite them? You know, for me it's movies like "Caddyshack", "Blazing Saddles", "Blues Brothers", "Stripes", there are quite a few. Of course, the older you are the more time you've had to watch them again and again but I am curious as to what others do with movies they like or love.
There are movies that I've seen that I would never ever want to see again, and some I wish I didn't see in the first place, but others just seem to be able to be digested over and over, even if they are not considered great films. I mean no matter when I see the pool scene in Caddyshack I start laughing way before "the event" actually happens.
That kind of thing. Besides, we're all cooped up - what else do we have to do?
Wow, we have very similar tastes.
I would add
Fight Club
The Matrix
Caddyshack
Psycho
BTW, I highly recommend everyone watch The Andromeda Strain right now. This 50 year old movie is eerily similar to Covid and even the treatment in the movie (low blood pH) is being talked about why quinoline might work as a treatment today. Crazy how History repeats itself.

Did not expect to see a Lina Vertmuller film on anyone's list. So wonderful but so depressing. Then again, the sex scene with the fish eye lens... one of a kind! The Seduction Of Mimi - Lina Vertmuller
