yes, I know. It means I paid a lot more for shipping. Whatever..... As Gloria Gaynor once said....Oh, God. I initially only bought FM and Doors. As I surmised might happen....I relapsed, and ordered the other 2 about 3 days after that.

You're being a tad rough on yourself Gene. I never thought you were a fool...yes, I know. It means I paid a lot more for shipping. Whatever..... As Gloria Gaynor once said....

Thought about it, but they are two different releases. We'll re-purpose the Quad album somehow.Any hope of including the original quad mix on the Atmos Blu-rays (for example - The Doors Atmos release could also contain the 1973 quad mix on the same Blu-ray audio, it would likely increase the retail price a little though)?

Putting this out here:We're dipping our collective toes in the physical Atmos pond.
We'll see how these four go and if they sell, more will come!
Are you sure about the shipping costing more?yes, I know. It means I paid a lot more for shipping. Whatever..... As Gloria Gaynor once said....
Perhaps the best live album ever.I think I mentioned it earlier in the thread, @ForagingRhino, but I’m dying to own the existing, yet hard to find Atmos mix of Little Feat’s “Waiting For Columbus” on Blu-ray. I’m down on my knees!
While you wait, here’s Phish’s live cover of the whole dang thing (yes a live cover of a live album… how meta)I think I mentioned it earlier in the thread, @ForagingRhino, but I’m dying to own the existing, yet hard to find Atmos mix of Little Feat’s “Waiting For Columbus” on Blu-ray. Trey’s self titled has a pretty solid 5.1 mix on DVD-A, and their DVD releases have the standard, lackluster “concert film” 5.1 mix but I agree. I’m seeing them this month at Sphere which *has the capability to do surround*, will report back on if they take advantage of itOh yes! Obsessive Phish fan here since 1992. What a great performance that was. And to keep on topic: Phish needs some surround releases!
There are some titles where I see the release announcement and order immediately, then go back and read about what I ordered because I was so excited I couldn’t even get through the description before wanting to pre-order.I’d pay top dollar for a box set of the Grateful Dead mixes that have been coming out.
Though as producer George Massenburg might tell you, like Frampton Comes Alive!... Waiting For Columbus is not totally a live album.Perhaps the best live album ever.
How about an analysis of Beggars/Matador/4AD/XL jumping into the lossless DL Atmos game? Queens of the Stone Age and Spoon already have 2 albums out with a commitment for future releases. There is already one Life in Surround video about them! I’m hoping they sell!
If they start putting out physical releases, I'm definitely interested. I'm not set up for streaming because I am not interested in paying more monthly fees for such services. Many artists on these labels that I would be excited to hear in surround sound/atmos for sure! How about an analysis of Beggars/Matador/4AD/XL jumping into the lossless DL Atmos game? These are not streaming releases. You own the lossless album once you pay and download it. They are available in MP4 and MKV (you get both). You just need a USB to plug into your receiver/blu ray player. Immersive Audio is the website:If they start putting out physical releases, I'm definitely interested.
