Hi, I'm Kenneth from Denmark. I'm a recently retired electronics engineer and have been interested in vintage hifi for the last 6-7 years.
My interest is purely around the old vintage quadraphonic stuff, not the modern surround sound systems. And of course also normal vintage stereo equipment, of which I have quite a collection, mostly Sansui and Marantz.

The current quad setup consists of the following:
Akai AP-420 TT with a CD-4 pickup
Sansui QRX-7500 receiver
Akai GX-630D-SS
Harman-Kardon DVD47 (for playing SA-CD's with 5:1 tracks)
Front Speakers: Marantz DS-940, Rear Speakers: Marantz HD-77

On stock is the following: QRX-3500, QR-1500, Marantz 4230 (no SQ decoder) and JVC 4VR-5426X

Currently I'm in the process of renovating a QRX-9001 that has been i storage for a long time.

Welcome to QQ Kenneth!
Good luck with your Sansui restoration.

Quite a nice lineup of equipment! And welcome to QQ. You'll never interact with a finer group of people. :) (another "Kenneth" here, too!)

While you're doing your Sansui renovation, you might want to consider a "holy grail alignment."
Here are a few links you might find helpful from the QRX Restore in Oregon USA

The QS in mine, with the blend resistors removed, makes regular matrix really pop and, even better, makes stuff in the synthesize mode sound really spectacular!

Thanks for the comments and the links. I discovered QRX Restore some months ago and have been reading through all the wonderful tips & tricks. The “holy grail alignment” is on the todo list, but that will be when the renovation is completed. A new LED power supply has been developed, inspired by the one on AK from 2011. Just for fun, I can select between green and blue scale color with a switch on the psu. Attached an example with the green color. The power meter LED’s are a bit on the cold side, so I’m re-considering that.
