New (overlooked) Elliott Scheiner mix: Alain Mallet, Mutt Slang (DTS CD)

Ordered. I have no issue with DTS CD whatsoever. Every one I already have sounds fine.
I hope I get the 2-disc set! That is weird to not even include the surround mix in the description.

You have no issue with DTS CD because you "get it"...a good mix is a good mix no matter what the delivery mode

Got a chance to listen to this last night. I found the songs a bit uneven in terms of my personal tastes, but this is a quality effort. The mix is appropriate and engaging.

I am still figuring out the best way to spread 5.1 and 2.0 mixes into my 7.1.4 system, so I had some issues with the solid bass on this disc getting too boomy with DTS+DTS Neural engaged, but that's not the disc's fault. It sounded quite nice on DTS+Dolby Surround and DTS+ Auro 3D.

Can someone please confirm that he only released the two disc version. Much confusion here in the UK as to whether Amazons UK disc is the correct item. As the description only states one disk. Or is that where the problem lies, the disc release has not got the correct details for the re sellers?

I did contact a seller and they confirmed the EAN as the two disk version.

I got mine through Bandcamp and it has the Bar Code 888295603423, as in the image at the beginning of the thread, and I had to wait a month or so whilst they reordered it.

Mine was 2 disc yes but if me remember right cdbaby had it described as 1 disc also hmmmm Even amazon America has it as 1 disc but for 21.98 which has to be 2 disc

Yes; I think the sellers (Amazon, CDBaby--didn't realize it was on Bandcamp; that must be new) didn't get the proper description. I emailed Mallet himself before I ordered and he confirmed that there was only just the one (2-disc) version.

My mistake it was CDBaby I got it from not Bandcamp, I lose track!

But @Clement beat us both, as you say. After I saw his post last week, I ordered the USB. I was gonna wait until I could report firsthand on the mix before I said anything, but I still haven't gotten a shipping notice...

I listened to the album on Tidal, though, and I like the music a lot.
