Arrived today to my door in Massachusetts. Signed by Bruce Soord courtesy of the Shed. The accompanying book is excellent. Copying the blu ray iso file as I write this. Will play from the iso file, as I usually do in such cases.

FedEx was supposedly to deliver my package TODAY from Burning Shed but it got delayed until Monday.

Supposedly, FedEx tried delivering the package yesterday but didn’t leave it because it requires a signature. I didn’t see the attempted delivery note until early this morning because the wind had blown it several feet from the door that I assume they left it on. Anyway, I won’t be home until late Monday so I had it redirected to a FedEx store for pick up. I was really looking forward to listening to it this weekend. Oh, well!

Don’t know why a signature is required when it was shipped FedEx Economy. It may be because it’s an International delivery. Also, I make quite a few orders every month. So, I may have missed the part where I needed to be home to sign for it.

In jealous of those who have received a copy. I ordered though Amazon.ca in early May, however the status now says "we will email you when available". That doesn't sound good. Importcds has it listed as backordered. The Shed says "out of stock". It seems like there weren't enough manufactured to meet the demand.

That’s really lame. I am sorry Amazon.ca didn’t get their ordered stock! In the past, I have been left hanging by preordering through Amazon.com, rarewaves.com, and ImportCDs.com so I totally feel your pain. I haven’t had any issues (yet) preordering from Burning Shed or from artist websites direct. It has proven more expensive, but so far so good.

Burning Shed is out of the version with the art print but as of a minute ago, they still have copies without the art print.

I think I snagged the last art print copy Thursday night after DeepDiscount emailed me stating that the pre-order item was unavailable to ship and back ordered with no time frame or promise of avaibility.

Of course I panicked thinking I was going to miss out as it is supposed to be a limited edition. Should have taken the advice from @Perpendicular and ordered from Burning Shed in the first place. But Noooooooo, I wanted to save $20 bucks and I went the cheap route. So I scrambled and ordered from Burning Shed while asking for a refund from DeepDiscount.

The Shed came through and had it posted and showing movement on Friday.

Meanwhile, I waited for a reply from DD on a refund. Less then 24 hours after they sent me the unavailable email, they reply with "Due to our quick order processing, we are unable to honor your request for cancelation". So I replied with a ' What? You sent me an unavailable email less than 24 hours ago'.
No response to that but then I got a shipping notification late Friday afternoon. Of course when I look up that tracking number it states that the # was generated and the postal service is waiting for receipt. UGH! Never going the cheap way again and never using DD ever again. What lousy service. If the package actually was tendered to USPS Friday that would be one thing but it is likely still sitting in their outbound pile waiting for pick up on Monday. Could have sent someone or some robot down to pull it out.

So it looks like I will wind up with two. If that does happen, I'll gladly help someone out who missed out if stock disappears.

Hopefully you can either return one copy or certainly resell it to one of the folks here you is backordered.
