Hello everyone, my 103 is ten years old. The USB, bit the dust some years back. Almost never had a disc playback issue, but now I can’t get it to play. It sometimes makes sound out of one or two speakers, but it is unplayable. I tried various discs and none will play. Checked my cables etc, nothing seems amiss, but I am not an expert. I know enough to get it all wrong. If any members have any ideas or possible solutions before I start looking for some kind of replacement. Thank you for any advice you might have.

The most common reply you might get is send the unit to Oppo for servicing. They quit making/selling players some time ago. But repair service is still available:

If you haven’t tried a full factory reset yet, I’d try that before sending your unit off for repair.

From a quick google search…
Steps to factory reset an OPPO Blu-ray player
Go to the Setup Menu
Select Device Setup
Select Reset Factory Defaults
Re-enter your customized settings as needed

I hope this helps!

You can save your settings on a USB thumb drive before you do the factory reset and then restore them after the reset.
