Oppo 95 HDCD playback over HDMI, does it work?

I believe I have ONE HDCD in my collection, and IIRC, it’s an SACD hybrid to boot. Somebody’s sampler.

My Oppo 105 has settings for all of those things, and it appears that HDCD takes precedence over SACD if both are present.

I only use the analog audio outputs of my Oppo (until my Atmos decoder shows up). I don’t recall hearing a difference.

HDCD on an SACD hybrid. Wow, never seen that, that I know of. I bet that's a rarity.
As far as using the HDCD setting on my Oppo's it's a safe bet it's been many years.
Maybe on the 970HD and possibly the 80. Not on the 103 I'm sure.

..save as file with 192/24bit, also useful for CD-4 native (30kHz) ..
BUT take care that your TV will not drop down the maximum with their handshake. So I have to use RGB cables instead of HDMI !!
