I thought he was treated quite well here, and got a very postitive attitude toward his two surround releases. We did all we could to promote them. Stuff like this always bums me out. I hate to hear about "industry folks" getting "fed up with our forum".

It was also the comments on SHF that turned him off as well. May have just put him off all forums.

FWIW, zero professional engineers hang around here constantly, long-term. I think AJ has been treated with all due respect when he has visited, and if forum interaction isn't his thing, it's neither sad nor even unusual.

While public figures as disparate as Mother Theresa and the Pope receive[d] daily hate mail and even death threats....all celebrated figures in the public eye have to learn to be thick skinned.......as the world wide net has always been an amalgamation of the Good, the Bad and .... the UGLY! Those with thin skin need not apply!

While I'm not a public figure, I've taken my share of abuse releasing 4 inde albums and this last year of video reviews. It can be a challenge to take criticism well, but it's a great way to grow.
