Please report! There's only one review for surround AMLOR in SHF and it's all good words and praise, while the rest of the forum is complaining about clipping and muddy mastering of the stereo versions.

You gotta love SHF...
I remain fully loyal to QQ, although I feel like you almost caught me cheating, haha.
TBH, SHF is a mixed bag of personalities and, forgetting about their snobbish attitude towards certain stuff, I discovered many interesting music releases and useful information such as the replacement programme for TEY box.
Reading all the posts about TLY kinds of compensate the long wait until I receive the box (sometime next week, I hope)

I just can't handle the attitude. Hell, I merely wanted to BUY an Opeth blu-ray a short while ago and some moderator deleted my post and told me off in a PM just because I don't have 50 posts... Lame, and it potentially hurts their members by killing a sale.

I'm just a lurker over there, never bothered to ask for a user to be created, although I'm tempted because of the second hand market. I didn't know about the 50 posts rule!
Back of track, something weird is happening in Spain with this box. Both Fnac and Amazon had it listed for about 390 euros and Fnac removed the box from its listing last week. And today Amazon Spain did the same! I wonder if they will wait until the very last moment tomorrow to re-list the item at a more reasonable price. Hopefully Fnac will do so that I can go to a physical store and purchase it.

Hm, did not work out - unfortunately. The kids are sleeping now, so no music for me. But tomorrow I will be working from home, children are at school and wife at work :) I think I can spend at least a couple of hours on the box content.

However, I am more interested right now in watching "The Delicate Sound of Thunder", the released clip with "run like hell" was fabulous!

Ok, quick update now...
The set as a whole is beautiful! So much content, this will take some time to explore everything. The packaging is flawless, all DVD and Blu-ray discs are in antistatic plastic sleeves. So there will be no scratches. Overall the design of the packaging is great, everything is in place. No moving parts in the box!
Delicate Sound of Thunder (Blu-ray, 5.1 DTS-HD): The picture is very good considering the age. Lots of noticable grain on big screens but this is much better than DNR. The highlight is the 5.1 audio mix - it's SUPERB!
After watching the concert I listened to "a momentary lapse of reason" (Blu-ray, 5.1 DTS-HD). All I can say is WOW! I am predicting here and now that this one will end up in the top ten of the polls ;) You all will LOVE it!

In the unlikely event anyone is willing to part with the blu-Ray discs in this set, please let me know. I’ll make it worth your while :)

I wish I could join the crew on the full discovery of all this PF goodness! Sadly we just moved, shot our disposable income toward that end, so I can’t afford the full package right now.

Aggh, my set left Jacksonville, Fl. (3 1/2 hours from me) yesterday.
went all the way up to Louisville, KY (7 3/4 hours from me) left there early this morning...
back down to Hapeville (south Atlanta) GA... (1 1/2 hours from me)
It left Hapeville at 6:32 AM ( 2 hours ago)
and says delivery by 11 PM this evening....

I sure hope it finds it’s way home by the time I get home from work this evening!

Update: Out for delivery @ 9:35 AM

Yay!!!

Speaking of which, that didn't take long. No way I'd buy this, but it's what comes of locking surround blu-rays in expensive boxes...

While I get increasingly pissed off at Amazon France for not shipping the box, I'm anxiously waiting for any reviews of the surround content by QQ'ers. Come guys, you're killing me!
