Tonight when trying to access my multichannel files on my QNAP NAS using my OPPO 205 I encountered login issues. I could never get any username or password to work. Finally I googled the issue, and found that a recent security update for the QNAP changes the minimum SMB supported from v1.0 to v2.0. Unfortunately, it seems all OPPOs only talk SMB v1.0.
You have to change the setting in the QNAP to support SMB v1.0 as the lowest version. Once I did this it worked again. I hope this helps anyone else struggling with this issue.
