how's the surround mix on this one soundboy? do you also have the other EMI Hong Kong MultiChannel SACDs (the 3 x Sarah Brightman's & the Maksim disc)?
It's more of a gimmick for Vanessa-Mae's SACD, in my opinion. When I listen to this disc, I do it in 2 channel stereo.
I do have the Sarah Brightman SACDs. No Maksim SACD.
Had a listen, it sort of reminded me a bit of the Moya Brennan in a round about way, semi-classical/choral/pop not thrash-metal as I'd thought!Only £20 from amazon.fr, so I thought I'd give it a go.
What part is the gimmick - the Surround Sound mix or the SACD release itself ?
did you have a chance to try out the Era/Mass SACD yet, Duncan?
Era's Mass is a good one in Multichannel SACD! Sort of Gothic Rock.
Glad you like it too Mr.Moura there's an Era Best Of SACD too which is a nice little package (SACD + DVD-V) I'd say is worth a punt to any QQ-ers who enjoyed The Mass disc.
What about this one?
I'd love to hear this:

Are these the hardest to find Multichannel SACDs? If so, I'd suggest adding The Cardigans Multichannel SACD "Long Before Daylight" to the list.
Might also be interesting to rank them based on the asking price for the SACDs on Amazon or eBay - or in some cases where there isn't even an asking price available!
When it comes to Multichannel SACD rarities, one of my favorites is this one by the All-Girl German Pop Group No Angels. It is a mix of pop and swing. Features the songs "Funky Dance" and "All Cried Out".
Definitely worth nabbing if you can find it !
