Sorry that will probably never happen, but... You are lucky that most classical music can be bought in near perfect condition. Generally for pretty reasonable prices, if you can locate them. I have a friend who is a big jazz connoisseur, and he buys near mint vinyl all the time in all of the quad formats. And perhaps a few of their audiophile NONESUCH classical QUADS

Those Nonesuch quads are best heard on R2R tapes that rarely surface at reasonable prices. 'Tis a pity.Sorry that will probably never happen, but... Or maybe four albums per disc anyway. Do two BluRay discs and cover eight albums. Like way down the line when all of the best pop and rock has been done.Maybe a Super Quadio - all of the Nonesuch quad albums (no need for the stereo mixes) on one music Blu-ray (for ~$60 since, IIRC, the Nonesuch quads were priced lower than the typical popular music quad album).

I was told that two-fers can be done but it alters the current pricing structure of an individual Quadio disc. Additional publishing costs per song adds to the price. Mastering costs might also be a factor.Wondering if the two Souther, Hillman, Furay albums could be issed as a 2 fer. The first one reached #11, went gold and spawned a Top 30 single with Furay's "Falling In Love". The follow-up album broke the Top 40, but was not as successful. (Both did end up being mainstays of the cut-out bins). I have never heard the quad mix of either, so have no idea about how they sound. Being a fan of Buffalo Springfield and Poco, I was a big fan of Furay's vocals. (Oddly enough, my favorite Poco era is the 'fab four' era, after Richie left, and before Tim departed for the Eagles.)
After 28 excellent pop and rock (and jazz) releases already, I don't see why classical fans should be asked to keep stepping to the back of the line. Not sure about raw numbers, but I'd be willing to bet that pound for pound, classical listeners already buy more physical product than devotees of other genres.Or maybe four albums per disc anyway. Yes I’m afraid classical sales are and have been in a deep slump for the last decade. I didn’t ask for that reality. I’d like to see and have already stated as much - Darrius Mulhaud’s “La création du monde“, and Edgard Varese from Nonsuch. We would be lucky to get them anytime at all. After 28 excellent pop and rock (and jazz) releases already, I don't see why classical fans should be asked to keep stepping to the back of the line.
