2 new artists to the Quadio world.
So that means 2 aren’t new.
If they’re celebrating Black History Month that narrows it to: Spinners, War, Mingus, GCS, Hathaway, Flack, Ellington.
Don’t know how many of them had other Quad albums back in the day beyond what’s already been released.

Hmmmm.....so that might narrow it down to:

Billy Cobham
The fair market value of my sealed serial # 0003 Limited Edition Audio Fidelity Spectrum backup SACD is dropping faster than Hawk Tuah (Spit on that thang!) bitcoin. :ROFLMAO:

I’d like to see the other two “The Spinners” titles come out at some point. And “War” since their titles originally came out on Q8. Both artists would benefit immensely from the sonic upgrade. And both artists had major hits that were played throughout the 70s and beyond.

Not sure if this has come up before, but The Best of Aretha Franklin was done in 1973. By that point, Miss Franklin had recorded a lot of remarkable music for Atlantic. I wonder if the twelve tracks on this set were the only quad mixes of her catalog that were done. Could there be unreleased mixes of other tracks in the vault? It would be astounding if a tracklisting like the one for 30 Greatest Hits could be assembled.
