Rhino has released a number of albums that didn’t interest me, along with several that do. If I’m unfamiliar with the music, I’ll probably preview it on YT or somewhere to see if the music appeals to me.

I’ve picked up a few “classic” recordings that just didn’t float my boat. Life is too short for much more of that.

Can you repeat what 4.
we don't know what the 4 are right now but so far based on the hints given and everybody's best guesses they might include any one of the following;

Curtis Mayfield "Roots",
Spinners "Pick Of The Litter",
Billy Cobham "Spectrum"/ Dionne Warwicke "Then Came You",
Aretha Franklin "Live At Fillmore West".

For me this is shaping up to be one of the best batches yet. I already have Spectrum, but if that’s one of the selections then it’s really good news as it is hands down one of the best mixes ever and a stunning album to boot.
The big question though; is it still the same nightmare to order internationally from Rhino?

Oh yeah, that first font definitely looks like Aretha at the Filmore!
And the third is Roots by Curtis Mayfield.

Edit: Last one is Pick of the Litter (Spinners) and the second one is close enough to Billy Cobham's Spectrum that I'm convinced these guesses are all right, even if the font does differ a bit (look at the "a" and "o").

So, no Dionne Warwick(e).

That would fit in with the previous clue that two of the artists (Billy & Curtis) are new to the Quadio series.

And if that's it, I'm in for three out of four. Nothing against Billy Cobham, but I've already got the AF SACD and the 5.1. No need to triple dip!

Dionne Warwick's out?

I hope not; the only artist that has my attention so far in this bash

Oh, well... maybe the next bash will suit my taste better.

It’s great that they put out releases among diverse genres. It can’t always be about classic rock. Rhino and Dutton Vocalion are both good in following that philosophy.
But, but, but, why? I like classic rock. More specifically 80s rock, but that is something that doesn't really exist in surround. A few titles, but sooooo many more that I want.
