I was just listening to the Billy Cobham Spectrum album on YouTube. It is pretty wild stuff, but not overly dissonant. It sort of reminds me of Birds Of Fire in that it has a good blend of dissonant and harmonious passages; and in some cases both at the same time.

Gotta put this one on my list when I assemble my next bundle.

How soon until the price of the AF SACD of Spectrum drops?

I think there was someone on this very site who was trying to unload a copy in the last week. Started at $125 or something and then dropped to $110. For his sake, I hope he got a sale.

I guess unless you want an AF collection or don’t have a Bluray player, there wouldn’t be much reason to pay so much. But as has also been mentioned, a comparison between the AF and Rhino would be interesting just to be sure.

The AF version is already in my library, but I couldn’t resist grabbing the Rhino version.

So... what are the chances that Gnarlywood was “all hands on deck” last night and packaging orders to send out today?
