He did a 5.1 mix of Toto IV a year ago, and keyboard player Steve Porcaro said "I remember playing that part, but I haven't heard it since I played it," Scheiner says. "Oftentime in stereo mixes there's just no room, so things get lost. Now we're able to hear all those old parts and a new slant on the record."

So often I'll hear things in a MC mix that I don't remember hearing before..you go back and put on the stereo mix..sure enough it's there just buried amongst everything else..
