Hmmm - mine plays fine on my Oppo BDP-83SE (or at least the quick test I did) - I leave it on LPCM. What audio stream are you getting that on?

I managed to access the menu for DTS HD MA, displaying on screen, played first track, then high pitched buzzing, tried to skip tracks, still the same. LPCM plays fine, my disc starts to play again, when it's finished.

I must have a faulty copy. I've just tried it on my Sony, and the same thing happened.

Just playing Dolby HD audio, and that's fine so far. ( Just a problem with DTS HD MA )

Do the compressed tracks have better specs, and if not, why not play the LPCM?

None of the 3 audio track are compressed.

None of the 3 audio track are compressed.

The DTS HDMA & Dolby Digital TrueHD streams are compressed, but of course they are lossless compression schemes.
