My copy is just leaving the UK so it will be awhile before I get it. I still find it hard to believe we don't have more of the Roxy Music catalog in 5.1 or Atmos, or even more of Ferry's solo output for that matter. I've got Avalon, Boys and Girls and Frantic on multi-channel SACD, but that's it. Why they stopped with those titles is a mystery to me. Hopefully sales of this retrospective will convince someone to put out more of this stuff in surround. Unfortunately, the box set of Roxy Music S/T with 5.1 on DVD was just too outrageously priced for me.

Later in the interview they mention how excited everyone was with the deluxe/surround edition of Roxy Music S/T and wondered if/when For Your Pleasure would be done. The response basically was "Its time will come". So, the good news is that Bryan Ferry and the folks around him all seem to be very excited about Atmos (as opposed to 5.1 surround) and are open to remixing both the Roxy and Ferry solo catalogs. The bad news for us aging fans is they seem in no hurry to get around to it. I was also happy to read that they feel the albums Flesh + Blood, Avalon and Boys and Girls represent a high point for studio production. All of these need to come out on physical media in Atmos, asap.

The debonair Mr. Ferry has an expensive style he needs to maintain
My favorite Lounge Lizard, his shows at Radio City Music Hall in NYC were awesome, especially May 1983 (Avalon Tour w/Roxy), such style. I love my SACD of Avalon first time I heard it my room exploded in sound, thanks Bob Clearmontain, but would buy physical Blu ray disc at a heartbeat.
