Hopefully this means Once Upon a Time gets SDE treatment at some point [that's the only simple minds album I'd want]. More solid releases, nonetheless.

I have the Sparkle in the Rain Blu-ray with 5.1 Mix (bought it used) but couldn't get New Gold Dream for a reasonable price! Instantly ordered the bundle!
Now I have them both in Dolby Atmos and for nearly half the price New Gold Dream would cost on the 2nd hand market alone! Yes!!!

I really wish Rhino would let us know if they will be doing a third batch of Atmos releases....not sure I want to re-purchase new surround mixes of two Simple Minds' albums that I already have in surround sound.

Exactly. I'm sure they're going to want to upgrade the album to Atmos next year, but it would be unfortunate if those missing multis for both parts of "Broken" don't turn up until then.

That's what I was wondering, had to go look to make sure my Pure Audio disc was indeed multi track.
Is it the 4th or the 5th time I buy New Gold Dream? I have lost count. It's one of my all time favorite albums. Even the LP sounded really good. I remember using 'Big Sleep' to compare different brands of compact cassettes a small liftime ago, probably in 1983. Never get tired of this album. The old 5.1 is one of the very best sounding 5.1 mixes I've got. Love it and play it regularly. Favorite tracks of mine are 'Big Sleep" and 'Hunter and the Hunted'. Look forward to have all the tracks in multichannel. Great they found the multitracks. Hope the new mixes will be on par with the existing. Tough competition though. Also bought Sparkel in the Rain. I like that one too and know I will regret it if I don't buy another copy of that one as well.
