Wait! Why would you "convert" anything to PCM for HDMI when the Oppo gives you audio out?
I'm assuming your NAD has audio inputs?

My 5.1 analog inputs on the NAD are in use by the surround master, so need to use HDMI from the Oppo. I could use 2.0 analog out from Oppo to NAD when playing stereo SACD.
