You guys should just chill, the mail system is a many layered beast. Panicking is futile.

Got my shipped email from Rhino also.
For everyone worried about their tracking number not showing on the UPS website you don't have to. That tracking number is a USPS number. Rhino did send it out through UPS. UPS is delivering the Quadio box sets to the post office and the post office will deliver the package to you.

I also received the shipping e-mail from Rhino.
It says it was shipped via UPS, but the tracking info at UPS.com shows "unable to locate". However, the tracking number looks a lot like a USPS tracking number. So I checked it on USPS.com, and it shows "USPS Awaiting Package". WTF?

They do that because it is cheaper for UPS to have the post office deliver it for them.

Same here - got it this afternoon saying UPS 3-Day Select. So a day before the release date is fine by me...

I wouldn't expect it before Sept 4. They generated the tracking numbers but it does not look like the packages were physically received and sorted into the UPS or USPS system yet. I suspect Tom2112's post is accurate and so you are going to add an extra day for the package to go through the middle man.

Man, I was hoping to get this before the Labor Day Weekend along with the new Pineapple Thief release. That one isn't gonna make it either. Bummer.

Got my email that it had shipped from Rhino yesterday. Tracking number details aren't showing up yet when I click the link, but I'm hoping it will be here Friday or Saturday. I listened to the 5.1 of The Captain & Me last week - it's a really good 5.1 mix. Looking forward to the hearing the quad mixes of it and the others!

Wonder how’s they’re dealing with out of country shipments.
As soon as UPS is mentioned I get nervous. My last shipment from ImportCDs used another company (RR Donnelly) to send to Canada Post. Along the way I got whacked for taxes and handling.
The chances of that happening would have been greatly reduced if RRD hadn’t touched it.

Couldn't find a single mention anywhere as to why there's a USPS tracking number associated with this thing. The only benefit to the post office getting their hands on it would be that it'll deliver on Saturday if it is some kind of handoff...

I think the part that may be incorrect is the confirmation where it lists UPS 3 day select as the ship method. Based on the tracking # I have, it was sent via USPS (as it is a valid USPS tracking number). So I don't think anyone is going to see this in 3 days.

Right - because of that USPS tracking number, it could be that it's UPS SurePost which always costs an extra day in delivery because of the handoff to the post office...

my tracking no. in the USPS site says that the package has not been handed over to them...can't trace it on the UPS site , though....
