Love that snap, crackle and pop!!! It’s the needle going back and forth in the grove. Not a bunch and zeros. We see how much those CD’s are worth today!!! What about the vinyl re-revolution?

Any snap, crackle, or pop from a record comes from dirt that got into the grooves and was played before cleaning.
My 45's in my juke box don't snap, crackle or pop. They're brand new colored vinyl Beatles 45's and are are clean, have only been played 1-4 times each, not worn out. Else I'd replace them with new ones. Snap, crackle. pop was a comment from another QQ'er who thinks that a CD juke box sounds better than a REAL juke box with real vinyl records, and not a plastic disc covered with a whole bunch of 1's and 0's instead of grooves
Everyone knows that the reel way to go is reel-to-reel. There is never any snap, crackle or pop and best of all...Half the convenience at twice the price.
You are so right!! I have an Akai and Sony stereo reel to reels decks, and and Akai Quad deck, with over 400 original consumer stereo and quad reels that sound better than any vinyl album ever could! That being said, you need to listen to a real to reel entire side, while when we’re having a party at the house, I can select up to 200 songs on vinyl 45s to play back to back until they’re done. Everything has its place my friend!!!

Yes I also have a portable DAT Player/Recorder Sony TCD-D8, has a great adapter to go optical. Real Quality by Sony Made In Japan.

When the link and then you started talking about using 6146 tubes, that immediately drew
me back to the mid 1960s when I built an illegal linear amp with 4 6146's for use with my CB rig.
O Brother did the TV watching neighbors hate me for my late night gab fests. LOLI debated wither to bring my VTL tube monobllocks with me in my retirement move from IL to FL but ultimately decided against it since trying to dig a basement would have only turned into a swimming pool down here.. LOL I do miss my tubes, there's just something
about listening to music while they bath you in their romantic glow. Maybe not the most accurate to the source but -------------------.

The location of the Rear Surrounds so close to the listening position is very interesting. I have mine waaaaaay in the back because that is the only place they can go.

And I am currently using two Heathkit AA-2010s instead of four Heathkit -29 series amps.

Yeah thats because I have some stairs on a side and a ping pong table at the back blocking the way but I'll sell the ping pong table and upgrade my TV to an 85" and thus expand/spread everything up
My Samsung 85 QLED is coming on Wed and the installers on Thurs.
I'll put up pictures after its all good..

Great capabilities. A little more than my smallish audio room can handle even.
I'm running 7.1.4 from my Onkyo TX-RZ50 but I have to pre - out the side surrounds to another amp.
You going to add some more speakers and take full advantage of it, or happy with "just" the 7.1.4?

Time will tell. I'm currently happy with my 7.1.4, and thus I'm selling my Parasound amp, but I haven't received any serious offer, and if that continues and I'll move the couch back as well as the speakers I may add 2 more in ceilings.
Cool setup you got as well! the mean in professional and certified dolby atmos studios is 7.1.4, so we cannot go wrong with that.
