Did you think I was going to stop the Home Theater upgrade on just the subwoofer? Nope.

This is just part 2 of the upgrade and I’m uber excited, to have finally pull the trigger, long time coming, on Klipsch’s flagships RF 7 III (LR) and RC 64 III (C).

These things all together weigh almost 150 kgs…and they are almost my size, as you can see. My 3rd set of RL and 2nd of C. You can see the comparison with my previous RCL.

I can finally see/listen where the hype was at. No gimmick, no snake oil here. They are Klipsch’s flagships for a reason. Demoing these with The Harmony Codex.

Your soundbar looks cute
🙂

After such a stressful week, this, as well as the support of my wife
🙂
, both have definitely been the silver linings of the black cloud.

Nice - Demonstration of a life well lived! These types of things start becoming end-game purchases.

I'm a big believer in the big dynamic qualities of big towers.

Be sure to report back on their two-channel capabilities, imaging, soundstage, and so forth.

my AVR is enabled, but I haven't dug it yet, or haven't seen where to listen to Auto 3D music.
If you have access to the Auro 3D auromatic mixer then I would recommend trying it out with stereo content. That’s assuming that you’re also going to put in a ceiling speaker directly overhead (the proverbial “voice of God” speaker, which is critical for Auro 3D).

I'm overly gratefully surprised with the performance of 2CH on the RF 7 IIIs. Despite not running bi-amp with an external amp, I tested some losslesss music from Apple Music last night and I was blown away, not in a chance my previous LR speakers went this far (RP 8000F). Enough bass to wonder if the SW was on too. Treble and mid at the right level.

there will be now a 6" gap between cabinet and wall because of cables.

Looks more like 2'!

I learned a little trick a few years ago. When trying to create that perfect stereo image from the place where you sit, take one of your MONO recordings and play that. Between a little movement and toe in/out of your two front speakers, that mono signal should be locked dead center. So then when you go to a stereo recording the information between the speakers will be dead perfect. All recordings are different, modern recordings the vocals seem to be pretty good at phantom center, but older rock recordings they played around with vocals being on the sides, etc, so by taking that mono recording you can rest assure your dialed in.
Thanks for the tip, that's really cool!

After patiently waiting for quite some time to get a reasonable priced pair of 2nd hand speakers for surround I finally was successful and now have a matching pair to my Fronts. This finished my 5.1.4 Set Up and I am now be able to enjoy my Surround Music Collection :D
Since I have to deal with limited space and the room layout unfortunately I was not able to place my speakers at the optimom geometry. But, even though I am happy with it!

I think you utilized your space very well. It looks really nice! Are you doing more than surround such as Atmos with your setup?

Thanks!
Yes of course it is also used for stereo playback of Vinyl and ripped CD's or watching TV and films etc. A so called multi purpose system since I can't install more than one.

That's cool, but I was wondering are the height speakers also being used for Atmos? Some may not be able to place them exactally where they need to be but speakers above is better than no speakers above at least when it comes to Atmos.

Yeah, this is right! It's the only place I could hang them. The Speakers have dedicated holes in the back to mount them to the wall the way they are. Originally they were made as Surrounds for a 5.1 System but I use them for Atmos. If you don't have the right space you always have to live with compromises unless you won't ruin the comfort of your living room :ROFLMAO:

Last but not least....long overdue
Emotiva XPA 6 GEN 3. 6 channel to drive the AVR. I've heard / read so many good stuff about Emotiva, being called the "bang for the buck" on amps.
As for now I'll be driving 3 channels (fronts and center), who knows, maybe in the future I'll add some wides turn the layout to a 9.1.4

this thing is heavy, and this is the last step of my current upgrade....as for now.
Ebay seller forgot to include the power cable.....now I'll have to wait until he ships it)....

Oh man I have power cables out the yin yang around here. But glad you found what you were looking for!

If only, I live in Monterrey, Mexico. Though Im asking the seller to ship it straight to my home. Shipping shouldn't be expensive, wont weight much, nor occupy space, it's just a cable.
I love the “Amplifier Birth Certificate.” The anticipation of waiting for that power cable……..🍷🍷🍷

I admit I have not been to that part of Mexico. I would think a power cable would not be hard to find in any urban area. But you paid for it, might as well get it!
