Last but not least....long overdue
Emotiva XPA 6 GEN 3. 6 channel to drive the AVR. I've heard / read so many good stuff about Emotiva, being called the "bang for the buck" on amps.
As for now I'll be driving 3 channels (fronts and center), who knows, maybe in the future I'll add some wides turn the layout to a 9.1.4

this thing is heavy, and this is the last step of my current upgrade....as for now.
Ebay seller forgot to include the power cable.....now I'll have to wait until he ships it)....

Your media room never fails to impress. Shipping for that behemoth could not have been cheap! BTW, the eBay seller will be shipping the cable once he recovers from his hernia operation.

Like @mandrix, I don’t lack for power cables, LOL. I just have to put my wife off when she goes through periodic “house clutter” purges. Thank God for storage bins!

it was 160 bucks shipping it from CA to TX, and then I paid extra 100 bucks for shipping from TX to MTY, MX.

Thanks for the compliment

unfortunately I was not able to place my speakers at the optimom geometry.
Nice set up. Even though you say not optimal, are you able to correct with room correction like Audessy or something, even as simple as channel level +/-?
I had a similar set up and my rear left was a bout 6' from my head and my rear right was about 10' from my head, I just cranked up the rear right and sounded OK.

Alan, do you have enough clearance above that Emotiva amp for proper air flow? I see only vents above the amp and no heat sinks on the sides or back.

That's a good question @ar surround , and that's something I realised after placing it at the bottom cabinet/section. I had to put the amp on top so that it has proper ventilation. In addition to that, I'll get an AC Infinity Aircom T10 on top to give it a better temperature.

Hooweeever, that rearrangement/placement compromised the placement of the center speaker. As you can see the central channel is now aligned properly vs. the front speakers, as well as the sweet spot, though the TV isn't. You can't have it all.

It’s a pain to do at this point but you could get a swivel mount for the TV. 🤔

Wow, really? I have one with a 70+ inch TV and it's a heavy duty beast. I love it. I have it bolted into the studs, it's not going anywhere.
I'm utilizing a 32" Curved 4K DELL HDR Monitor in my main system for monitoring BD and DVD~A menus and even though it's secured in a stud it remains a little wonky.

Which means, Gene, the ONLY stud worth anything in my house is ME 🤷‍♂️ [LOL]

Can the TV be moved to the right?
