My eye is twitching just looking at this. I could not live my life this way
I dug deep and consolidated down to a single Harmony Elite remote. Every button you need and a single OFF button that shuts everything down. Bliss.

Good news and bad news with the Harmony. The screen section can have every possible command for every component in the system, which certainly makes it unwieldy, but they can be edited down to a useful half-dozen commands, or assigned to a physical button.

I’ve tuned and tweaked mine multiple times. It’s one of the ways to improve your setup every week, and at least that doesn’t cost money.

New iPad, does this count? I don't know why I didn't try this a long time ago. I almost exclusively use Kodi, and it never occurred to me to put my AVR in HDMI pass-through mode to my Shield and play music without the TV via the Kodi Remote app. So much nicer for late night listening.

clearly, I have to get a new ipad. This one can’t be updated any more, and the cover is just about shot.

I recently got a new iphone and Mac mini, so when the free Apple Music subscription runs out in February, I’ll get a new ipad and another free music subscription.
