A shame but their day has passed, and as much as I love a couple of their early albums, I am happier listening to those albums than anything they have done in this century.

All right you randomizers and super Googler's. Me and a few folks had a discussion today about max transfer rate of AUDIO via HDMI.
The HDMI WIKI says I think 15xx kbps max. I think that's hogwash, and what they mean is uncompressed LPCM.
If TrueHD can peak at 18000 kbps (according to Dolby from their site), and I have to assume that passes over HDMI same, that clearly surpasses what the WIKI says.
What say you?
