I was reading an article about possible upcoming tariff's?
The article states electronics, things that we at QQ use, will go up significantly?
Buy now?

Well our future Dear Leader has promised tariffs. Maybe won't affect Taiwan, but most likely China, where many diverse imports come from, including critical rare earth metals for manufacturing a various array of electronics here in the States. In fact, I know that at one time China was the chief exporter of rare earth metals (think Lanthinum, Neodymium, mischmetal etc etc)
I know when he imposed Aluminum tariffs, he put companies out of business that relied on Aluminum imports from China.

But of course most people don't know/don't care about all that. Follow the leaders, they know what's best for all of us.

Pretty safe bet that at least some things manufactured in China will go up.

Yup. Too many don't understand that tariffs, while US protective, gets the importers cost passed on to the consumer.

Regardless, my friend, here's my plan:
Keep living my life. All I can do, and we will deal with whatever as it comes.

Yeah, I grew up in southern New Mexico and, at night, we listened to KOMA out of Oklahoma City. Remember driving around in Yellowstone once and scanning the dial and that same stattion came through up there.
Of course, we also had XEROK from just across the border in Mexico, which was the station ZZ Top sang about on Heard it on the X. It was a "border blaster" station aimed at the American market and was broadcast at much higher power than was allowed in the US and I think could be heard in most of the country..

We also had XERB, home of Wolfman Jack! I think they were in Tijuana, or pretty close.

Down in Central Florida, where I grew up, we had some absolutely ass kicking FM stations as the 70's progressed. Deep album cuts, sometimes play an LP, flip it over.
The first FM station broadcasting any sort of rock I recall, was from WUSF at the University of South Florida in Tampa, and at first, only two hours on Friday night; otherwise strictly classical music.

Growing up in Tampa, early 70's, all I had was an AM radio. WTMP, the Soul of Tampa Bay was my go to, and the reason for my listening pleasure now, GULP....60 YRS AGO! that was hard to say.
I do remember rock that was only limited to a few hrs at night, probably was the USF station

I don't need an excuse to blow money
Stating a 30% tariffs is a good negotiating ploy before you sit down.
I served on a negotiating committee for Labor and the stuff we would throw out there, was laughable before a contact expired
