Different mastering to the dualdisc?

I am eager to know this as well. I don't know if I'll buy it if it is the same as the DualDisc. Hopefully it is a new 5.1 mix of the original album mixes (unlike the DualDisc).

The only differentiator is the audio on the videos is lossless on the Blu-ray vs Dolby on the DualDisc.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I had to double check the DualDisc case and even though the description indicates 48/24, it came out 96/24 with DVD Audio Extractor.

It's my understanding that there are possibly two versions of the DualDisc; one with MLP the other without.

i really can't get this point with upsampling of original with lower freq. to higher.
actually plenty of releases with such trick, when recording done @ 44.1/48kHz and
prior authoring it on DVD-A/BD-A, was upsampled to 96/192kHz.
doesn't make any sense.

I thought there was a DVD-A and a dual disc version...but it appears the packaging may have been wrong on the dual disc... mine also has 48/24...check this out
