UPDATE: This is the message I received from Sonos, after contacting their CEO/Patrick Spence

My name is Sean, and I'm a senior member of the Customer Experience team here at Sonos. Our CEO, Patrick Spence, brought your inquiry to my attention, and I wanted to reach out and see if I can do to help address it.

I can confirm that SACD, DTS CD, and DVD/A are not supported on the Sonos Arc.

Guess that's that!

I asked if future software upgrades, for my audio selections are forthcoming
