Spinners Quadio - identifying the defective disc

Can’t you just buy it from Amazon, give it a listen and if it’s off send it back? The defective ones haven’t been in circulation in a long time.

If the seller has a still shrink wrapped Spinners Quadio, explain the situation with the remastering and say that you won't buy it unless the shrink wrap is removed and the Quadio is verified to be the remaster.

Yes, but also keep in mind that the original V1 ones were only sold by Rhino but are no longer.

I don’t know what anyone else did with their defective discs, but mine is in the charity bag. Someday it will be for sale in a thrift shop, little doubt. Still very good music.

If you’re buying on ebay or something like that, be sure to ask about the runout.
