This release such a missed opportunity...
So long story short, there’s really no need to get this if already have the 1080p blu-ray.
I am not a particularly visual person, where music is concerned, so when I buy a concert Blu-Ray or DVD, I buy it for the music/audio. Can anyone confirm or elaborate on whether the 5.1 Audio is at all improved or changed on the 4K edition (whether in mixing or mastering?). The review posted above -does suggest- that the vocal mix on the stereo option is clearer/louder (the writer seems happy with that aspect of this release). But does the 5.1 have any mixing or mastering difference at all? Positive or negative?

Based on reviews and specs, there's little reason to buy the 4K of this. The blu-ray is still pretty widely available. On Amazon it's going for $18.40 new, and used is even less. I'd look for a good used copy.
Interestingly the Kaleidescape store download version shows this as 4k HDR10, at least for their version. If it wasn't HDR it would state 4k SDR. Kaleidescape gets the mezzanine files direct from the studios, and it shows "Mercury Studios". Kaleidescape had this in its online store in 2021. Now whether this "HDR" version looks any different than the disc, I won't know until I'm able to rip the 4k disc and compare (the rip "key" for MakeMKV should be available within a few weeks).
I ripped the UHD disc with makeMKV this morning.
