I preordered this through the link to the Steven Wilson store off of SDE on Friday. I completely forgot about the Steven Wilson HQ Website where I’ve ordered from in the past. Anyway, that link off of the SDE Website directed me to Burning Shed’s, Steven Wilson’s store. I was okay with ordering there but probably could have saved a bit in shipping off the SW HQ store for the US. But, I didn’t learn about this preorder release until Friday because I was too busy being caught up in these Southern California fires, work and having no power at home for 2 1/2 days. So, since the 3 disc set sold out, it’s a moot point.

Just a couple of questions. Sorry I arrived late at the topic and despite I read the most ot the post, I couldn't get clear info about it and maybe it's a good summary of the topic:

- The Burningshed site is the only one where Deluxe edition is available? I coulnd't find it at other sites nor music shops.
- The extra surround track in the Deluxe BD edition (Orchestral Objects) is a different song or only an orchestral cover of "Objects Outlive"?

The fact is I pre-ordered the stand alone BD edition for 14 € but I'm still thinking if the deluxe edition worth the price.

1) Yes. It was also available from his store (hosted by Townsend) but sold out from there within less than a day.
2) It's described as "an especially commissioned orchestral version of the 23 minute long Objects Outlive Us". The BD also has the rest of the second CD, which is exclusive to the deluxe edition, in hi-res stereo but not in surround.

It's a pity it couldn't be sold at other sites. The price increase is inversely proportional to the number of stores in which it can be found. And the fact that we have to buy it from England is another factor rising up the cost: taxes, shipping, currncy exchange...
