Really impressive how this whole album gets the SM 3 treatment.
I love it when introduced to a new album / artist / music that strikes a chord. This album really hit the spot. And yes, the SM Stereo 2 Surround (hope you don't mind me stealing your term @Sonik Wiz) is fantastic.

"Be Easy" rocks.

Thanks for sharing.

How about something that doesn't sound so good with the SM?

I bought Charlie Puth's latest album. (Please don't judge. I love pop music and, unlike some other young artists, he's actually very talented.) I was pretty shocked that the album sounded sorta <eh> when played in fake quad-- for the most part. Then the tune Left And Right came on. It was one of his hits-on-the-radio songs. Wow. On this song, CP uses a lot of back and forth between the speakers for his vocals. (That's why the song is called left and right. :)) The quad was pretty stunning. There were times his vocals came solely out of the rear speakers. Backups vocals in front. I swear it has to be matrix encoded.

Just finished listening to an AMAZING pressing of Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus. Now i'm spinning Spirit's eponymous debut. Another Music On Vinyl limited pressing of 1,000; i have 70. This vinyl is clear. And it clearly sounds better than any pressing of this album i've ever heard . . . and through the SM v.2? YOWZA!
