Has anyone from Importcds not had theirs shipped yet? I'm a little disappointed to be honest. Preordered this two months ago.
Ordered from ImportCDs as well, no pre-order notification for me either

Same message for me as wellHave a wait ahead of me from Amazon UK.....I'll just have to live vicariously through those who have it for now..
The DTS-MA stream is probably nothing more than a losslessly compressed version of the LPCM stream. I usually just rip the LPCM stream if one is available. Why go through the extra decode step? But if you feel you can hear a difference....
There is no requirement or standard for it to be 96kHz. And 48kHz is pretty common. I think all the new Atmos mixes are 48kHz as well. What rtbluray said makes the most sense.
That's the truly strange part.
I read, I think on super deluxe dot com, that this was due to a limitation in the master tapes.Did I read that correctly, the Walters and Ludwig 2.0 masterings are only 16/48?
I will be in the definite minority here but though an SW 5.1 mix and assorted demos etc, are nice, I will only play them once.
It’s HiRez 2.0 I listen to 99% of the time. Doesn’t look like I’m getting that here.
My copy of this and Ultravox have both shipped from ImportCDs, expected on Tuesday.Has anyone from Importcds not had theirs shipped yet? I'm a little disappointed to be honest. Preordered this two months ago.

That shithead shot him on my 26th Birthday.
Hasn't "The Hurting" already been done?I wonder what Tears For Fears album they would do next. Would they go backwards to The Hurting? Forwards to Elemental? Or skip to Everybody Loves a Happy Ending?
Only in stereo though, unfortunately.Hasn't "The Hurting" already been done?
I know Elemental was prepared years ago already, but that was just a double CD. Everybody Loves a Happy Ending seems like a good idea to me. That album certainly needs a remaster, and given how dense the recording is, a 5.1 could also really open it up.I wonder what Tears For Fears album they would do next. Oops, too late. (Well, I have it, but can't currently listen to the 5.1)So please do NOT post in the thread unless you actually have the release and have heard it!
Some DoobieI’m also waiting on “TBC”, wondering why it is still listed as such. Looks like it is third party vendor with a 90% approval rating.Kinda silly..but then..
My order still states "TBC" as artist and title in yamazon england...
Hope I don´t get a package named with artist and title "TBC"...
Now, if it were THC!!!!...
Stevens notes on the mix are pretty much full disclosure on lost bits and a couple of points where he had to take elements from the stereo masters. The Intro is the same but after the reversed drums the song starts a liiiitle too low in volume (equally One Of These Days - Pink Floyd)
At 2:29 there is a drop of the strings
At 2:41 trumpets are missing
At 2:51 the strings built-up is too loud
I think the only way to get a 5.1 mix of songs from The Hurting would be the Greatest Hits dvd.I know Elemental was prepared years ago already, but that was just a double CD. Everybody Loves a Happy Ending seems like a good idea to me. That album certainly needs a remaster, and given how dense the recording is, a 5.1 could also really open it up.
Unfortunately, I can't really see them doing The Hurting again, since there already was a stereo-only Blu-Ray.
