justforkicks.de had a placeholder for this, a few days ago, but it seems to be erased. It was a CD version (15 Euros), an artbook with 2CD and BluRay (49 Euros) and a deluxe Edition with clear Vinyl, 2CD and Bluray (90 Euros)) . And on another Website i found details of the bluray which seems do have an atmos mix by Bruce Soord.
New Tull eh?
Or maybe: New Ian Anderson solo, re-branded as Tull?
I'm very glad he's still making new music, but I wish he'd reconsider bringing Martin Barre back into the fold. That would be Tull.

Jethro Tull needs a new singer. Last two albums are vocal torture to me. Instrumental album would be fine.

After two consecutive new Jethro Tull album releases in 2022 and 2023, another collection – ‘Curious Ruminant’ - is unleashed! Consisting of nine tracks varying in length from two and half minutes to almost seventeen minutes, this is an album of mostly full band music. Amongst the musicians featured are former keyboardist Andrew Giddings and drummer James Duncan, along with the current band members David Goodier, John O'Hara, Scott Hammond and, making his recording debut with the band, guitarist Jack Clark.
‘Curious Ruminant’ will be available on several different formats, including a Ltd Deluxe Ultra Clear 180g 2LP + 2CD + Blu-ray Artbook & Ltd Deluxe 2CD+Blu-ray Artbook. Both of these feature the main album, alternative stereo mixes & a blu-ray containing Dolby Atmos & 5.1 Surround Sound (once again undertaken by Bruce Soord of The Pineapple Thief), as well as exclusive interview material. The Ltd Deluxe vinyl artbook also includes in 2 exclusive art-prints. The album will also be available as a Special Edition CD Digipak, Gatefold 180g LP + LP-booklet & as Digital Album (in both stereo & Dolby Atmos).

£46.99 isn't cheap, but for comparison, Jethro Tull 2 cd and 1 bluray artbook for £46.99 and Steven Wilson's The Overview, which is an artbook with 2 cds and 1 bluray for £74.99!
If you're not in a hurry, these JT new albums end up getting a very low price in the market a few months after the release date

I actually don't mind that track. although it makes for more background music than attentive listening. I'll still probably get for the 5.1 mix.

I actually like the new track quite a bit - the minor caveat being Ian's very limited range and diminished vocal power. I haven't sampled the track in Atmos yet but expect it will sound great given it's a Soord mix. Although I wish IA would be willing to give a different vocalist a chance to breathe life into his still potent compositions, I've long since reconciled that he'll never relinquish that position under the Jethro Tull banner.
