I actually like the new track quite a bit - the minor caveat being Ian's very limited range and diminished vocal power. I haven't sampled the track in Atmos yet but expect it will sound great given it's a Soord mix. Although I wish IA would be willing to give a different vocalist a chance to breathe life into his still potent compositions, I've long since reconciled that he'll never relinquish that position under the Jethro Tull banner.

Lyrics are failing for me. I got into Tull because of the lyrics.

He had a supporting vocalist for the TAAB/TAAB2 tour and it was pretty awesome. The supporting vocalist kicked in on the higher notes and he sounded a lot like the young IA. I thought it was a great concert. I like this track and I agree that it would be enhanced by some supporting vocals.

I've just sampled the track in Atmos on Apple Music and I think it's one of Bruce Soords' best mixes of JT to date. Vocals and flute are firmly anchored front center, with a huge soundstage and great use of the surround and height channels (echoing vocals ping-ponging right over your head), not to mention the overall production and sound quality. The interplay between the organ and guitar is particularly noteworthy. It really makes me look forward to the rest of the album.

Hoping for an Atmos verson of TAAB stand alone!

Here's some useless, but maybe interesting information to some.

I was reading the news articles in the book of The St. Cleve Chronicle as I was listening to the 5.1 DVD of TAAB. I noticed that there seemed to be a typo in the article, "Man Threw Bottle." The DVD book version refers to Albert Innes as an "Unemployed Farmwork."

My curiosity was sparked and I thought that it was odd because this reproduction was so painstakingly created. Could it be the Mandela Effect? Could it have been wrongly printed since 1972? Was this actually an oversight of this most recent version (I own the Reprint with the corrected DVD)? So being the obsessive-compulsive perfectionist that I am, I had to check my album cover version that I bought back in the early 70s.

Sure enough, my need for order was restored and it was so written in the original album version of the St. Cleve Chronicle as "Unemployed Farmworker."

Now I must know if the original print of the of this DVD Boxset has the typo or is consistent with the actual original album cover St. Cleve Chronicle! Will there ever be order in this world?

I have attached photos just in case anyone questions my eyesight or my ability to read.

Does anyone easily know which of the Tull boxsets with Wilson mixes are still available to purchase? If you have to look them up, don't bother. I could do that myself.
I don't mean from ebay or discogs. I mean, from a vendor.
