Another BUMMER of a sale [ELUSIVE DISC]:

So, I ordered 4 Stereo SACDs NONE OF WHICH SAID INELIGIBLE FOR FURTHER DISCOUNT and when I went to type in the coupon Code it said NOT ELIGIBLE!

So I called Elusive Disc's customer service and when she typed in my order, she asserted NONE OF THEM WERE ELIGIBLE and furthermore stated that there are SO many items that they cannot state which are and which are NOT eligible ...... BS, as far as I'm concerned.

So they lost my business.

But by the time this recent sale finally rolled around they were all back order.
So I bought them from Music Direct instead, for 10% off

Sorry to hear about your experience dealing with ED, Ralphie. There was a Memorial Day sale by one of my favorite choo choo train stores where they specifically state that the sale does not apply to "New Arrivals." They have each and every "New Arrival" clearly marked with the words in a blue circle next to the item. They even have a complete section on the main web page that directs people to "New Arrivals" so that there is no doubt what is excluded from the sale. Elusive Disc should take a lesson from this train store in customer service:

Half Price Books had a 20% off sale over the holiday to get folks into the store. I guess I should have posted it but they do it on most holiday weekends to juice up traffic. I managed to make it to two of the three stores and mostly bought RBCDs which I still can't resist at their prices (ie $2.00 minus 10% every day because I worked at a university or 20% when they have sales). I asked the manager about how RBCDs and also LPs were selling and she said CDs did especially well from the clearance/$2.00 shelves and SOME LPs sold well mostly things from later than albums were actually released as LPs. ie stuff from the 80s and 90s. At 20% off I also bought a couple of non clearance CDs. I got two for $0.40 each which I bought to get the superjewel cases. One was from Argentina and the other from la France. I will stick both of them into a player before using the case for something else.

Elusive Disc's website sucks, almost as much as HDtracks. Unfortunately, as their name suggests, they are sometimes the only retailer for certain rare and OOP titles.

Just got this one (found it reduced to below £20 on amazon so jumped on it!)
I really like the music on this one and the surround sounds great on my system.
My main issue with the disc is the menu system! it is a complete mess.
The actual album is completely buried in a submenu. the Play-all starts with the videos, and going specifically to the audio-only submenu, it starts with the live version of 3 of the tracks, you have to navigate further down and right in the audio-only submenu to be able to play the album!
It feels like they put the blu-ray for the bonus features only and then went "oh yeah I guess we could add the hires and surround versions in there, we still have space, but noone will really want to listen to them so let's hide them away!"
