We’re a bit concerned as to how Jazz will react to the 4th of July fireworks (she’s fairly new to our family, but she was upset by New Year’s celebrations), so I’ll be curious as to how that combination of loud noises and a new cat will be taken.

We got some OTC sedatives for her (just slip this into her drink…) and I’ll probably spend most of the evening with her in the listening room with something besides the 1812 Overture playing.

we make sure we close all windows and turn on the AC. that helps to muffle the fireworks - somewhat,

My daughter works with retired nuns. She enjoys the job so much that she is getting a Masters of Social Work, specializing in geriatric care. Any hoo, one of the sisters recently passed away. She had a cat named Katt (the sister was Swedish-American). As Sister Ansgar's health was deteriorating, one thing weighed heavy on her mind: who would take care of Katt (who is 16 and is missing one of her back legs–not a good candidate for adoption!). My daughter was worried for Sister Ansgar. I told my daughter to assure Sister that Katt would be well taken care of. I told her much of my day is spent relaxing, petting Ms. Charlotte (who, i think, still misses Stash), and listening to surround music (when i'm not bowling, that is!). Well, look who joined our household this morning:

Thank you

Has Ms Charlotte having seen Katt's teeth dropped the toothbrush for her?
I read somewhere (prolly the damn internet) that it is bad hygiene to leave one's toothbrush in the bathroom (something about the humidity from showers or toilet spray, i think), so i leave mine on the back steps. :D

I have read articles about that and studies have shown that toothbrushes don't end up with any more germs on them, kept in a bathroom, than they do kept in any other room in the house.

Why do they write articles addressing this banal crap? They should be addressing where / how to store Blurays to protect them from rot. :sneaky:

Have to take care of this orange fella now, he had a full dental workover and is doing fine.View attachment 107207

There really isn't anything more comfortable/content looking than a sleeping cat.

There really isn't anything more comfortable/content sounding than a dog when they settle down and do that exhale thing they do.
