Tripelroot Brewery from Zeeland Michigan. Pure Mackinac. A DIPA coming in at 8.4 ABV and 70 IBUs Brewed with Mackinac hops which were/are developed and grown in Michigan. Its got a nice sweet but spice taste followed up by a wee bitter. I like it and will rate it a 9 on a 10 scale
damn 10 years old and the first time I have heard of it. nice AA and citrus/spice flavors. I wonder how it would fare in a Belgian.
A little thin, but with a nice honey-like taste and some alcohol warmth.
