Wow. That's really light weight. You'd have to work hard to get a buzz on. I guess there's always a bottle of Glenfiddich close by for emergencies. I wonder who that one person was that bought the 9.0?

The larger liquor stores in the US usually have an extensive selection of imports to explore. Is that how it is in the UK? Have you ever looked for 'merican beers mentioned here?
The higher the ABV the higher the tax! We can get from time to time US beers, I've seen on-line sellers, which may be available in some UK cities but not out here in the wilderness of Devon. We used to have off-licenses which was the only place you could buy alcohol outside of a pub, but now its all supermarkets, all with a limited choice compared to what they could have. However, I have been in a bar in Brussels in Belgium with 400 different beers.

I'll have some updates later as we turn the following into beer:

Here come the beers we shared while brewing
The first two I picked up at RAR in Annapolis.
RAR: Out Of Order No Brain, Only Staw. 6% ABV
Brewed with Copious Amounts of Sour Apple Hard Candies, Pastry Cream, and Lactose.

RAR: Out Of Order Sultan Of Swat. 5.6% ABV
lactose sour base conditioned on Blueberries, Raspberries, and Blue-Raspberry Cotton Candy

The Sultan of Swat is Amazing!

Aslin Broadlands.
A Barrel Aged Barleywine that I picked up in Virginia.
13% ABV aged on Indonesian & Tahitian Vanilla.
Unusual and interesting taste for a barleywine.
