Saw Greta Van Fleet last night in Cleveland. Love 'em or hate 'em, it was, in my opinion, what a rock show should look and sound like. Fantastic.

I don't know how long that kid will be able to sing like that, but MAN did he deliver.

Last night at Covent Garden:

A simple story of the French revolution – boy meets girl, boy loses girl, both get guillotined!

I hadn’t heard this in a long time and had forgotten how lavishly scored and beautiful it was.
Roberto Alagna as Chenier was on top form.

Looking forward to Tosca next week with Bryn Terfel!

Missed the announcement, Congratulations Kap'n. My first went on for 24 years and yielded 2 lovely daughters, but in many ways I'm more of a fit and happier with #2! And with her 4 children (3 more being ladies...) we're sort of a modern family, albeit with grown children.

Tickets as rare as hens’ teeth (and even more expensive) but last night I managed to get to see the world’s greatest bass-baritone return to the role as opera’s greatest villain,

I’ve just realised this is the second opera in a week I’ve seen at Covent Garden that has ended with an execution!

The George Clinton "Farewell" Tour with Parliament Funkadelic, with openers of Ms Velvet and the Blue Wolf, and Fishbone, Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh last weekend....

First saw PFunk in the 70's...this might have the distinction of being their briefest concert ever?! The setlist for this tour is relatively brief, but what I saw was shorter than any of the other recent shows!

Ms. Velvet played early in a different room. Main show at 8pm, and started late. By my count, only 4 songs from Fishbone! Then switch out band gear...out comes PFunk and they wrap it up at 10pm!? Lost count...maybe eight songs!?

Talked briefly with GC before the show and he was in great spirits...maybe the time frame has something to do with the way casinos operate...

I'm still stunned and waiting for more songs

This coming Weds night seeing Santana and The Doobie Brothers at Shoreline.

Holy ****! Mrs Gos just purchased 2 tickets to see Johnny Mathis at Rosemont Theater in Chicago in July. We are lower section, 11th row...center. This is a dream come true. Johnny won't be around much longer, as he is aging.....but his voice should still be in good form. Parents say I saw him when I was 10 or so.....I don't remember. Prices for this type of seating is not cheap....but for me......it's cheap as this will be a dream come true.....whoop!

So go to EC official site and no tour dates listed but under News Snood see JustTrust Tour Poster and went huh clicky..........and seeeeeeeeee Orlando - go to TickyMaster and there is a presale - public sale goes on Friday 6/28. Now Snooooood belongs to all the EC unofficial and official sites and never got a notice, but went online and found the Presale Code which is JUSTTRUSTEC - stuck that baby in and tada - Bought mine this afternoon and doesn't look like much action since, perhaps nobody knows about yet cept Snoooooooooooooood - although the ahem Platinum and PLatinum BS for 300 and 250 are sold or blocked off.......Snood not worried bout that bullsheeet 8 rows back is Awesome to SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD ... Well, it's GOOD to hear that Snood's AIM IS TRUE! I saw Elvis with the Roots a few years ago at our local Capitol Theater and his wifey, Diana Krall a few months later. Elvis is KING!
