For those intimate with the original album, is this simply an Atmos mix of the original album? I notice a few songs say something like "15th Anniversary Edition" (Featuring Heidi Happy)

For example....

Amazon placeholders are ready all over Europe for ASIN B0DTXCNRZ3.

Yes, with one bonus track. This isn't from their best period. Hopefully they will get to that!

Update: It's unclear if the bonus track is just on the vinyl LP.

Here's the google translate of the text on their website. The last two paras are more pertinent to the release.

For almost five decades, Yello has shaped the development of electronic pop music, which Dieter Meier (vocals) and Boris Blank (keyboards, sampling) left their mark from the end of the 1970s with cult hits such as “Bostich”, “Oh Yeah” and “The Race”. have. With their collage-like signature mix of synthetic beats, organic soundbites and associative wordplay, the Swiss are constantly trying out new things, while to this day they categorically reject all genre categories with a non-committal smile. Shrugging pop culture diplomacy with which Yello have set new standards in each of their creative phases: from avant-garde to ambient, from MTV to techno and from Dada to NASA, which Boris Blank recently wrote the theme song for the James presentation trailer Webb Space Telescope.

An almost childlike urge to explore that also permeates “Touch Yello”, released in 2009, which brought the duo back to the top of the Swiss charts after 24 years - a “return to form”, as the saying goes.

“Touch Yello (15th Anniversary Edition)” will be released on February 28th, 2025 in the following anniversary formats: as Blu-ray in the Dolby Atmos mix, as a limited 2LP version in gold and silver-colored vinyl, including a bonus track, and as a strictly limited edition of 150 Copies limited white label collector's edition in black vinyl - signed by Dieter Meier and Boris Blank themselves.

OH YEAH!

Hoping for an Atmos mix someday for One Second also 😋

There are two threads for this I see BTW.
I agree one second would be brilliant but my pick of the bunch would be Stella which was released almost 40 years to the day.

Great news!
Hopefullly their earlier albums like Stella, One Second, Flag are also being released on Blu-ray with Atmos soon.
If I'm not mistaken, "Stella" celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.
On the 29th of Jan so mabye a bit late for that but I hope they do them all.

From what I've read, this older album is not one of their best musically, but nearly all reviews praise the excellent production and sound quality. I sampled this on youtube and the tracks pretty much alternate between fast paced, funky dance pop and more ambient pieces, with female vocals popping up here and there. If the past is any indication I would expect an excellent Atmos mix with stellar sound, but musically a notch or two below Point or Boris Blank's Resonance. I'm in, but like most of their reissues, it's expensive. Will be looking for best price and low shipping.

I didn't order it yet for that reason
