Maybe fun for an episode but not a season arc.
I do like Anson Mount from his time in Hell On Wheels.

That show had the most emotionally draining execution of any show or movie I have ever seen.

I agree, if you like hard core Westerns, then "Hell On Wheels" should punch your ticket!

and then there's this Season 3 /2025 trailer for - (I'm getting a little nauseous!)

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - Season 3 | StarTrek.com

Carol Kane's character is a little over the top in that preview (and in the show), but I wasn't turned off by the rest of it. Wasn't Kirk disguised as a Romulan in an episode of TOS? I agree that the Section 31 movie was bad, but I like Strange New Worlds.

Star Trek: Section 31

Watched this one the other day, lots of flashy action; but for some reason didn't really grab me. I also haven't noticed much obvious hype or comments online about it (I did see a couple of very negative hits.) Anyone else have opinions on this Star Trek streaming movie (Paramount +)???
I thought it was a total dud. It certainly didn't feel like a Star Trek movie to me.

Sir David has caught the "Squatch" bug!
*“Museum Alive with David Attenborough“ premieres February 19, 2025, at 8|7c on PBS and YouTube

SLY LIVES! (Aka the Burden of Black Genius) on February 13 on Hulu and Disney+ (Questlove)

This would be an opportune moment for Dutton to unveil a new pop-rock batch containing Small Talk and High On You, no?

Great piece in Wednesday's Times running down 15+ notable tracks from Sly's career, pre- and post- Family Stone (with YouTube links). Here's a "gift" link to the article.

From Mark Anderson's Quadraphonic Discography [Popular]:

SLY & THE FAMILY STONE (see also SLY STONE) -
Dance To The Music B/W Stand. Epic JBQ-503 (SQ45)
{Special Coin Operator release}
Greatest Hits. Epic PEQ-30325 (SQ), EAQ-30325 (Q8), Epic ECPN-94
[previously ECPN-7] (SQ) [Japan], EQ 30325 (SQ) [Canada]
{When the stereo version of "Greatest Hits" was mixed, the master tapes
for three songs, "Hot Fun in the Summertime", "Thank You" & Everyone's
A Star" were not available. These three songs were put on the stereo
album re-channeled. When it came time to mix the Quad version, the
master tapes were found and used for the project. Thus, the Quad
version is the only format were you can hear these songs in true
stereo}
Small Talk. Epic PEQ-32930 (SQ) [US & Philippines], EAQ-32930 (Q8)
