Maybe I'm the last person on earth to hear about this. (My son was streaming them on Spotify the other day.)

MP3 only (48k, supposedly), though perhaps they'll be available for purchase in hi-res formats. And I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. No surround versions, either, but I bet they'd upmix well.

Parts of Ghosts: VI remind Pareles of Krzysztof Penderecki, the contemporary Polish composer who just died at age 86 (apparently not from COVID-19)--and who inspired Jonny Greenwood, among other indie artists. Like NIN's ambient-industrial stuff and Greenwood's film scores, Penderecki's symphonic music could make for some mind-blowing Atmos mixes, if done right. Sadly, very few recordings of his work have been mixed for surround. (Credo SACD | Credo DVD-V | A Tribute DVD-V)
