While I would never pay $2500 for any vacuum tube, how about $1.29 Million for a hockey card! Talk about lunacy, to those spending that kind of money as an investment, I hope that you loose your shirt!

Proof positive there's collector crazies out there that make Quaddie's seem so conservative & sane.

On the other hand, Gretzky is almost 60. Hang on to the card for maybe 20 years & when he is dead the value will sky rocket again.

Just think of how many Audionics Space & Image Composers, Tetrasound 101, Fosgate Tate II decoders that you could buy for that money. You could afford all the original encoders as well. You could also afford a whole host of audiophile equipment and high priced tweaks and still have plenty of money leftover!

I'm sure that they are easy to fake (but experts could tell the difference), I understand that reprints are available just not valued the same.
