Has anyone ever had this problem?

I bought a used copy of Steve Miller's "Fly Like An Eagle", the 30th anniversary edition. When the menu opened, I was able to choose the audio option, then chose the 5.1 surround audio option. I played the disc. It all worked perfectly.

I went to watch the video, and the menu no longer works.

I tried ejecting it (several times) and I have never gotten the menu to work again. It doesn't allow me to to do anything.

Anyone have a clue what the issue is?

If it is the Edsel disc there are known issues. I'm not at my computer now - this is my phone - but there's a thread from the past with details on how to find the "good" version.

This is a weird one. Just a 2 cent observation, I've seen this before on a DVD rental back in the day. No way to get back to the menu screen after the movie was started. This was on a Sony DVD/SACD player and a Sony BD player (way before 4K).
