GOS, I think they took a lot of flak on how they handled the Tull release so now they are trying to make up for it. Hopefully they learned their lesson as I like their prices and shipping costs!

Odd...it says 10.67 pounds. Come on....it can't be that heavy can it?
Gene,

Did you receive Who's Next box yet?

Who's Next is a behemoth.

I haven't weighed any box sets. Of over 300 box sets I own, Who's Next/Lifehouse is the heaviest. It is heavier than Early Years - Pink Floyd and its' later companion. It is also heavier than 70 CD/1 DVD Complete Miles Davis on Columbia.

Who's Next has a 160 page hard bound book and a second that is nearly 100 pages. Both are LP size, as is the box itself. Mine was packed incredibly well, first by UMG insulated within polyfoam in a one piece wraparound inside the packing box. Amazon put it in an outer box with yet more packing.

It showed up about 10 days ago, and I'm still working on listening and reading. My Broadsword arrived the same day, so I've been working on that one, too. Both great albums and among my favorites of both bands. Who's Next would rank among my 10 fave albums by anyone. Broadsword would be in my top 5 Tull albums.

Still waiting on Santana/McLaughlin, Super Session, XTC, and Overnite Sensation box.

Hoping that Santana Welcome will come later this year. It was originally released in November 1973 in 2ch as well as SQ & Q8. Bought all three and a few CD releases since. Q8 has Mother Africa split between the two programs.

Anxious to hear the next 4 Quadios. Lightfoot's Sundown would also rank in my 10 fave albums and as my most played quad album. I have a mint copy that I bough the day the CD-4 dropped. Bought these and the previous 4 Quadios on CD-4. Bought about 500 Quad albums back in the day, split between Q LP's and Q8's.

Just got a DHL notice that my combined cdJapan order of Love Devotion Surrender and Super Session has now shipped and on its way to Canada.

:51QQ
Got o DHL notice too for both of those.
Supreme, Supreme
Snap, and they'll probably arrive whilst I'm out having my Covid booster jab, so when I get back, assuming my arm doesn't hurt too much, I can open the box and stick them on the mountain :ROFLMAO:

I got my CDJapan ship notice... yup... Carlos and John.

But I’m envious of those of you getting your XTC and Steven Wilson ship notices. I keeping looking in my digital inbox like Charlie Brown looking in the mailbox at Christmas-time and finding nothing there. (Mine are coming from Burning Shed.)

I got shipping notification for Harmony Codex stand alone from BS but nothing on XTC from BS. DHL says LDS quad sacd is on it's way from cdjapan. Waiting to hear from Amazon de about Space Ritual.

I was on the fence about Serge Gainsbourg until @humprof sang its praises, so i picked it up . . . along with Hawkwind! I'm all in for anything mixed by @Stephen W Tayler !

I, like a few others, ordered Space Ritual from Amazon DE while their pre-order was up and priced at $49ish, shipped to US. While my order is still in place, and it says ETA of October 10ish....viewing that title now shows out of stock. So, will I get my copy, or will they cancel my order...and if they cancel...when will they cancel?
When I contacted customer service about my cancelled order, they said the order will be reinstated and "once the item gets in stock, it will be dispatched and you will be informed through an email".

My copy of The Big Express is currently residing at the sorting station in Flushing, New York(final destination: Massachusetts). I suppose that means Saturday or Monday for me. No worries; it’s all good.
