Well the USPS delivery is doing some weird shit now at my neighborhood mail box. The mail person usually (for many years now) has delivered at around 1 to 3 pm; yesterday I checked the mail at 5pm and nothing yet, and finally got notifications that the mail had been delivered at 8 pm. Something fishy going on with this

I got a weird thing happening too. Bought Tales of Mystery and Imagination from a 3rd party on amazon because it was fairly cheap. Said it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks (Whatever, I'm a patient guy and didn't find it anywhere else so I was fine with it). They said it would be delivered yesterday but the USPS tracking number still had it in pre-shipment. I messaged the company on the whereabouts of my disc and two hours later it said it has been delivered.... 5 days ago. Certainly not correct and now i've messaged them on what the hell happened? The worst thing is, amazon got some back in their stock (For a couple dollars more). Hopefully I can get my money back.

Just got a shipment notification from Rhino. Doobies shipped today. They said it would be delivered Thursday UPS.

IF they shipped it USPS, which is possible, I'll get it in 2022. Five weeks ago, Music Direct shipped Johnny Cash SACD via USPS. We live 30 miles away in Chicago metro. I still haven't received it. I'll pick up a replacement copy at Music Direct in the next week or two.

OK friends. My Goat Soup via UPS is teasing me to the very last minute.
So, now the package has arrived to it's final UPS hub, which is 25 miles away from me. As you see, it arrived around 6AM. That might be too late to have made the truck that would deliver it to my town today. I really don't know. So, let's say it missed the truck. Can I go in person and simply pick the damn thing up myself today? Never done that from a "hub", nor do I know if it's allowed.

Probably not....those places are merely distribution centers...they generally don't have customer service areas

OK, I figured. OK, so on to the next point. I really don't know if it's a "hub" or not. I guess I assumed when UPS shipments out of Chicago arrive to the Champaign/Urbana area...there must be a larger hub where "shitloads" of trucks haul stuff away. Though, I really don't know the process.
