Update. Steve just confirmed on the Bundle 5 thread that Mikey Newberry is a no go since his catalog reverted to his estate.
Too bad that they can't make a phone call and ask the estate if they would like to celebrate the artist and the quad legacy in 24/192kHz?

I'm $ure the e$tate will be $uper happy to allow Rhino to relea$e those album$. For a co$t.

You would think his estate would be thrilled to get a release like this for such a low-profile album. It's not going to sell gangbusters, but it would keep his music out there for those who appreciate it or who might want to seek it out, and what better way to do that then to make it a part of this historic series, which is destined for long term collectivity!

It's not generating any revenue sitting in an estate!

Artists with quad recordings announced in 1975 , No longer with Rhino :

Jimi Hendrix-Crash Landing
The Beach Boys - Good Vibrations
Frank Zappa -One Size Fits All
Van Morrison- Hard Nose The Highway (more recently discovered)
Allman Brothers-Brothers And Sisters

Also announced but not in the vault :

Foghat -Rock And Roll Outlaws

Rolling Stones -Bill Wyman , released but no longer with Rhino.
Emerson, Lake, and Palmer -Welcome Back.....released in Q8 , but no longer with Rhino.

I believe the hold up with Rod Stewart, is obtaining his say so for release.

Also , let's not forget the FIVE quads from Europe ;

Fats Domino -Montreaux Hello Josephine
Ralph McTell- Right Side Up
Absolute Elsewhere-In Search Of Ancient Gods*
Deaf School -Second Honeymoon*
Passport -Handmade*
--The bottom 3* are incredible Quadraphonic Mixes and Musically superb .

The Passport and ZZ TOP , seem to be elusive with vault searching , at least according to Steve Woolard @ForagingRhino

A newer Rhino acquisition I wouldn't mind seeing on Quadio is the Far Out Production of.... 'Eric Burdon -Sun Secrets'.
