Si I decided to break out my Spinners Pick of the Litter Quadradisc today, in anticipation of the Quadio release and this happened.....
There's no carrier being picked up by my Technics SH-400! It was fine when I just played Carly Simon's Playing Possum. The CD-4 adjustment record plays just fine - strong carriers on both.
I flipped Spinners to side 2 and perfect! But side one? Zero.
I've never heard of that before. And it's been so long since I played this album, I have no idea if maybe I didn't notice this before.
Just looking for your thoughts. Maybe this was an issue with some of these pressings?
